A weekend camping with the kids and a Google mishap had me a little
stressed this morning. I tried not to think about it too much while I
was off camping with my children but I admit, late at night, with just
me and the racoons awake, I had haunting thoughts about the contest and
my position.
The other thing, aside from concern over the effect
of my absence, besides the animal noises, was that a few days ago,
Google told me that the last time it had come to visit... no one was
home!!!!
I have no idea why that happened or what the
consequences might be long term.. or 'soon' term. I'm still in number 3
spot, I think I might have gone to 4th while I was away but today it's
3rd and pretty much what I expected. Google has since come to visit and
found me home so that's back to normal - although, it was 5 days ago
and that's kind of creepy.
The talk over at Digital Point is that
there was a major burp at the Big G and that a lot of people got stung
in their rankings on August 17th - that probably had no effect on the
new niche phrase we're all working on but some are feeling some genuine
pain over it. I also have to check my other sites and see if they have
suffered in that process.
Anyway, I'm back now and looking at the latest top 10 which I will post later.
